Part 11. Cat in boots.There was one of the warm autumn evenings that local people liked spending time in their homes next to the fireplaces. My friend and I were comfortably located near our one. Mr. Karabas, my friend, was an old kind man. He had long curly silver hair and a lush mustache. My friend was sitting in his favorite armchair and was drinking tea from his yellow teacup. Tea was hot and steam was rising from the surface of the liquid. There were some cookies on a plate. That plate was very beautiful, it was white with a thin blue border. Those cookies were cooked by our housewife. She was an excellent chef and she cooked the best french biscuits in our countryside. I preferred eating them with milk. I was slowly drinking it with pleasure. The logs in the fireplace quietly cracked and pleasant heat radiated from them. We felt calmness and looked at the world with love and peace…
