Part 1.

A large green field with tall grass and yellow flowers.

A tall girl with loose black hair, in a long brown shirt and high black socks runs forward, constantly turning around and smiling in a playful way. She laughs. Her face seems to be covered in fog, but it is still obvious that she has an attractive, radiant face. She is small and slender. Without a word she leads Victorian further into this beautiful field. Everything in this place seems unreal beautiful and kind. A stranger approaches a lonely swing that does not fit in with the surrounding environment. She stops at the swing and continues to smile. Victorian approaches her cautiously. The girl is waiting for him. He can't resist his desires. He moves closer to the beautiful stranger. CryDream knows her. But he can't remember.

Victorian: Who… who are you?

The stranger continues to smile in silence.

Victorian is close to her.

Then the fog mixes up the whole picture. The dream disappears.

The Jedi Temple. CryDream’s room.

Jeannie's voice, soft: Vi… Get up, baby. We have to go to practice.

Jeannie laid a soft hand gently on Victorian’s shoulder. The young Padawan struggled out of the shackles of sleep. His eyes twitch under closed lids.

Then Jeannie gently stroked his cheek: Wake up, baby.

Victorian opens his eyes and straightens up abruptly. His gaze is directed toward the door. This is the view of a person whose consciousness is somewhere far away. Where only he can be. In his thoughts and dreams.

Then the young man looked up and saw his master. CryDream smiled and his face pale of color became rosy. It was as if life had been breathed into him.

Vicorian: Good morning, teacher. I.. I'm glad to see you.

Jeannie: Good morning, padawan. I barely woke you up.

Twi’lek began to softly laugh, looking at the young man. Jeannie: I guess you were dreaming something beautiful, huh?

Victorian: I... Yes... sorry teacher, I should be more sensitive during sleep.

Jeannie, laughing and smiling: Yes, you're right. But here you are among friends and kindred spirits. You don't need to expend your strength while you sleep… Well, only if sometimes, for practice.

Jeannie, with a more serious expression: So, we've already spent too much time. Get up and go to eat. Then run to the training room. Today we will try to learn a couple of new techniques.

Jeannie took a good look at her padawan. He was looking at the floor. It was noticeable that he was shy.

Then twi’lek got up from the edge of his bed and left the room. Victorian looked up. He was looking at a door that was moving smoothly into its original position. As soon as his room fenced off the corridor, the boy's gaze faded again. He's been captured again by thoughts. And it was the thought of a dream that was beginning to lose its colors and shape. The boy's forehead frowned because he could barely remember all the things he saw in his dream.

Jedi Temple. Dining Hall.

The dining room was made in elegant light tones. The walls were decorated with patterns and various paintings. The room was huge. Long tables divided the kitchen into several parts. Golden light streamed from the huge, high windows. The sun was outside and it lit up everything with gold, painting the city in beautiful warm colors. Padawans, teachers and Jedi were talking quietly. But because of the large number of speakers, there was a monotonous noise in the room.

Victorian picked up the tray of food and moved to the edge of the table by the window. He used to sit in this place all the time. Most of the time he spent eating, he enjoyed the colors of nature that seeped through the temple windows The Padawan seemed to absorb the energy of the world around him.

Then Marie sit next to CryDream. She set the tray down and turned her body to face him. A smile lit up her face. Her eyes studied Victorian with tenderness and love. Then there was a flicker of concern in her eyes.

Marie: Vi, you are somewhere again, but not here. Didnt you sleep well? Hmm…

The girl looked out of the window and thought. Then it was clear from her face that she understood something. Her gaze returned to the young man: you had a dream. And it was one of those types of dreams where you feel empty and at the same time you feel warm and something new in your soul … Something similar to… Yeah, something like a goal. The dream brought you sadness and at the same time something new, new emotions that you want to experience.

Victorian looked at Marie and smiled: You know, Marie, you are worthy of your teacher. And I'm sure, Kira will be proud of you. Soon you will surpass her in your ability to understand and feel creatures. Hah, I know! You will be the best Jedi, sensitive not only to the Force, but also to the souls of creatures.

Marie, smiling and blushing a little: I'm... I'm very happy to hear that… Thanks. You'll be great, too, I can feel it.

Marie and Victorian looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds. Then they ate breakfast.

The Jedi Temple. Training section.

Victorian holds the two handed hilt of his lightsaber. His arms are down, his body relaxed. Jeannie walks slowly around him, waiting for the moment. Her green one-handed lightsaber is activated. She holds it along her chest as if preparing to deliver a horizontal slash.

Twi’lek jumped sharply, several times turned around her axis. The sword was in its previous position, which caused it to create a green band around her chest as her body rotated. During the flight, as close as she could get to her padawan, she swung her sword from left to right. A blow that can split the torso in two. It's good that the lightsabers were in training mode. Victorian was clearly expecting this hit. He activated one blade and was going to hit back.

But Jeannie pulled an incredible trick. She let her sword out of her hands, guiding it by force. The blade continued its dissecting motion. Victorian was ready to take the hit, despite the surprise. It takes an excellent response. And that response was with him. But his teacher demonstrated the limitless power of the Force. She changed the direction of her flying blade. Now it wasn't hitting from left to right, but the other way around. It was a sharp and unexpected twist.

At the moment when her padawan was beating off the double lunge of her blade, Jeannie struck the young man's hands with a lightning kick, beating off his sword, then with the second leg in the air, she kicked the padawan in the chest, knocking him down.

It's like time has slowed down.

Twi’lek called her sword into her hand and pointed it at the neck of her padawan. In the other hand, she called on the Victorian sword. She wanted to be on top of him and carry both blades to his neck, marking his complete defeat.

Victorian fell, hitting the back of his head on the floor. The pain made all the colors turn red. He was blinded. But in return, his hearing became more acute.

The flying sword of CryDream flew to the open palm of the teacher. Then both blades of the two-handed sword were activated. They were the same color as Jeannie's weapon. The Victorian sword spun around its axis. It was a lightning bolt movement. The spinning blades hit the two brushes of the teacher, disarming her. If the swords were in combat mode, the twi’lek would be left without hands.

Jeannie's sword fell out of her immobilized hand. Victorian jumped up on his feet. He grabbed his sword and his teacher's. A young twi’lek was on her knees.

Victorian brought blades to the teacher's neck: today is my day, teacher. You are defeated.

Victorian was smiling, he was clearly happy with his success. Then he deactivated the blades and helped his teacher stand up. He held out Jeannie's lightsaber, but she didn't take it.

Jeannie: You're good, Vi. I'm proud of you, Padawan! Your development is just great. Yes, I have a lot to learn. Hah, I can't even take my sword now.

Victorian looked at the teacher's hands. They were immobilized because the light sword training mode paralyzed the limbs.

Victorian: Sorry, teacher... I'll... I'll get the injector…

The young man ran, flushed and upset. But the twi’lek hand stopped him: Vi, wait. I can see that you're upset. Remember, padawan, it is just a training session. There's no need to apologize. It's all about forgetting everything and imagining that this is real. You're doing great. Honestly. I'm proud of you.

Jeannie, laughing: but I wouldn't mind an injector.

The young man quickly headed for the medication box. Then he injected the injector into his teacher's shoulde.

Jeannie, smiling, put her hand on his cheek: Vi, I'm proud to be your teacher. You are a very kind and sensitive person. And you are a fine Jedi. Know this. And don't you dare get upset.

Victorian: I am proud that you are my teacher. I couldn't accept anyone else but you. I appreciate you very much, master. I'll do anything for you.

Jeannie looked into his eyes, smiling. Then her eyes became as hazy as the eyes CryDream this morning. She was clearly thinking of something. Then clarity returned to her eyes.

Her smile widened and became even nicer: Viktorian, the answer to my question. Imagine that you are surrounded by three superbly trained Sith. I'm fighting with them. And I told you to keep running while I distract them. You must run forward to prevent terrorist attacks. How will you proceed? Tell me your steps, your plan of action.

Victorian looked directly into the eyes of his teacher. His face became unusually stern and serious: I will stay with you to defeat the Sith.

Jeannie: but I gave you an order to eliminate the attacks.

Victorian: I know. But I will help you and then rush to help others.

Jeannie: but by doing so you will endanger the lives of other creatures.

Victorian: Yes. But you know what kind of person I am, teacher. First of all I will save a loved one. And then strangers to my heart. If I lose you, knowing that I could have saved you… I will not only lose someone close to me… I know something inside me is going to die. I will always make a choice in favor of my loved ones.

Jeannie, upset: but this is not the way of the Jedi. You have entered the path. A path that leads by a dangerous path. The path of sacrifice and suffering. This is the path followed by a warrior who cares about the lives of all the creatures of the galaxy.

Victorian: Yes, teacher. You're right, and so am I. I have told you my answer to your question. And this answer is correct. I'll save you. There are many situations where you have to choose.

Jeannie: Yes. And you made the wrong choice. You saved one creature, putting hundreds, maybe even thousands, of other creatures to death.

Victorian: And this is my choice to live with. But I will know that you are still alive.

Victorian, looking down and blushing: What would you do if you were in my place and I was in yours?

Jeannie looked into the Padawan's eyes, and she was sad.

Then twi’lek looked down. Her face was full of sadness.

Then, with a smile. She looked back at Victorian. Her face lit up again with a smile, and her eyes were full of love: I would have saved you without a second thought. I would also choose someone close to me. I would have saved you, knowing that you would stay with me. And that's where we're the same. We are bad Jedi. We have a lot to learn.

Victorian was smiling.

Then the teacher and padawan headed out of the room where they had been practicing for several hours. Jeannie put a hand on her Padawan's shoulder. She was happy to feel the warmth of his body, just as he was.

The Jedi Temple. Section for training.

Granmar stood at the top, on the second tier of the training hall. He watched the whole scene from the shadows. He was smiling.

Part 2

Part 2.

The Jedi Temple. Council chamber.

Victorian and his teacher were standing in the center of the Jedi council chamber, still in their sweaty white training clothes. Перед ними сидел Гранмар. He was alone.

Granmar, smiling and looking good-naturedly: Good to see you. As I noticed, you've been practicing?

Jeannie: Yes, we just finished a new set of exercises. I must say, I am extremely impressed with my padawan.

Jeannie looked at Victorian. Her eyes were full of love and warmth for the young man.

Grammar: The council never doubted the capabilities of CryDream. You will be a worthy Force bearer, Victorianus.

Victorianus bowed. An embarrassed smile lit up his face.

Granmar: Jeannie, you are one of The Jedi Council. But, as you know, discussions about what to give the test for the Padawan and the teacher are held in secret from the above. That, my dear, is why you couldn't attend our gathering yesterday. I, on behalf of the Council, am ready to announce your next assignment.

Jeannie smiled slightly, and CryDream, subject, time, was clearly excited. Twil’ek knew that her Padawan is afraid of tests. He is afraid to let down and disappoint his teacher. It always amuses her. After all, she would never be able to take offense, much less scold her Padawan. She knows his fragile nature.

Granmar, after a pause: we have found out where one of the lower-level mercenaries of Coruscant will be. This is a woman, a zabrak. Extremely cruel and elusive personality. The police have been asking us to pay attention and catch this intruder for a long time. Our friends, for an immodest fee, found out where to find her. I will instruct you and assign you transport.

Then Granmar explained the details and possible methods of action.

After listening carefully, Jeannie and Victorian went to their rooms to prepare.

The Jedi Temple. CryDream’s room.

Victorian went into his room and put on a black robe embroidered with gold. And the same color pants. On top of this, he wore a black, dirty, and tattered cloak. He and his teacher are supposed to play beggars.

Victorian sat on the edge of the bed. Then his eyes began to close slowly. A faintness crept over his body. This meant that a new vision must visit his mind.

CryDream's dream.

Again, a field dotted with flowers.

The girl, whose face was again hidden by the fog, was standing by the swing. She was clearly smiling. With a wave of her hand, she motioned for Victorian to come closer.

When the young man approached the girl, she pointed to the ground.

Looking down, Victorian saw two flowers.

One of them was black. The other, standing in the distance, was white, constantly flickering.

Victorian looked up, not understanding, and looked at the girl. Her features became cleare. But it was still difficult to see her appearance.

Cute girl voice: Deception. The nobility of lying.

The girl smiled. Then she turned abruptly and ran playfully across the field, laughing.

Her silhouette disappeared into the mist that covered the field.

CryDream looked at the flowers again.

He didn't understand anything.

Then the white flower suddenly moved. He was close to the black flower.

A little down, the white flower touched the black, which made him droop and wither.

The white flower seems to have triumphed. Then it was covered in ripples. As soon as its contours became clear, the flower turned black.

Then the fog closed the whole picture.

Victorian was waking up.

CryDream’s room.

Jeannie is on her knees, looking at the face of CryDream. She's clearly concerned.

Twil’ek was dressed in a white robe and tight pants. It was her classic Jedi form. The white color was diluted by various patterns of gold color. She was wearing the same raincoat as Victorian.

Victorian opened his eyes slowly.

As soon as his eyes cleared, he saw the teacher.

He was surprised and confused.

His red eyes met the teacher's: Sorry, I guess I didn't sleep well today. I didn't think I could fall asleep waiting. But... I felt like a weak.

Then Victorian sneezed several times. Then he started sniffling.

Jeannie stood up and took her padawan's hand to make him stand with her.

She stared at him, then touched his forehead: «You have a fever, baby. I think you should rest. I'm going on a mission alone.»

Victorian looked nervous and angry: « No, I'm fine! I'm a Jedi and I can handle some nasty cold! This is my assignment! I will go with you and catch this mercenary!»

Jeannie was smiling.

Victorian, relieved and confused: « I'm sorry for my emotions. I will go with you, master. I will protect you. We... we are one, aren't we? Teacher and padawan. I will go with you and we will act as one organism. This way we have a better chance of success.»

Jeannie, laughing: «You are not only a great, brave warrior, but also an attentive student. You're right. We'll go together. And about your cold … You think I don't know what causes it? Again dreams and visions? After them your body becomes very weak. Your nervous system is still too fragile. Don't worry, I'll be there and will be able to help your body recover.»

Then Jeannie thought: «You won't tell me what you were dreaming, will you? You told me once about a girl in your dreams. But no more details. I know you're shy. Don't worry, padawan, I understand. You're young. Your soul is drawn to love. Just know that you can always share your emotions with me.»

Victorian: «Master, these visions please my soul. And they are frightening. What if it means something? Something bad.»

Jeannie: «Then tell me about your vision.»

Victorian described his dream.

Jeannie, smiling and looking affectionately at the padawan: « I don't see anything wrong with that. Maybe it's your emotions. Perhaps this is a sign that you need to be more careful. But you don't need to see something terrible in your vision. We must listen to the signs that the Force sends for us. But we are living beings with our own feelings. You need to live for the moment and not make assumptions. Those are your words, padawan. Words that influenced my perception of the world. This was the first lesson that my student, you, Vi, taught me. So don't clog your head. Let's just go on a mission and complete it, with ease and control over the Force. Also, Vi, please share your dreams and thoughts with me. I am happy to listen and help once again. We are Jedi, yes. But don't forget that I am also a living being who has a soul and emotions of my own.»

Jeannie, smiling slyly: «You should talk to me more often about more than just problems and our Jedi leisure, ahah! I trust you with me and you need trust me with you. So we will become one. Okay?»

Jeannie winked at her padawan and headed for the exit.

Victorian looked at her, flushed, and followed her.

There was a test ahead of them.

Victorian took a deep breath and cleared his mind and body of external stimuli.

Now he felt in control of himself and everything around him.

He felt his teacher, just as she felt his. Jeannie opened up to her padawan. Their force merged, trusting each other.

Part 3

Part 3.

Coruscant. Lower level.

Victorian and Jeannie stand at the edge of the platform that separates the pedestrian zone from the Airways for transport.

The teacher and Padawan depict local residents who were having a quiet conversation on minor topics. Hoods hide their faces.

Jeannie: «Victorian, do you notice anything strange or unusual?»

Victorian turned his head toward the streets and the many passageways where a crowd of various creatures went about their business or simply loitered.

Victorian: «I can't see anything. Everything here is so confusing and suspicious that it is difficult for me to filter out a variety of factors. I have little experience of being among the lower classes.»

Jeannie looked at the padawan: «Your thoughts and words are completely wrong. You can't call those present here "the lower class" just because they live in such unpleasant conditions. Each being has its own history of life and the reason why it is at a certain stage of well-being and existence.»

Victorian: «Forgive me, master. I just misspelled it.»

Jeannie: «Be patient and polite. Especially to strangers. Kindness is a wonderful way to help to avoid conflict and to bear fruit in the form of true solutions.»

Jeannie looked over the padawan's head: «Now relax and try to remove unnecessary information and filter out the energy of peaceful and harmless creatures.»

Victorian relaxed. Then everything around him became foggy. It was another vision.

About a hundred meters CryDream noticed a black flower at the shop of an antiques dealer.

Then the fog lifted. In place of the flower, a female figure stood with its back to the masked Jedi. She was wrapped in a black cloak that wasn't long enough to hide the woman's bare legs. There was a deep fresh wound on her left leg.

Victorian found what they were here for.

His teacher had also noticed the mercenary.

Part 4

Part 4.

Jeannie motioned for her Padawan to go around to the right of the mercenary. Hooded, the two Jedi circled the woman and began to approach her. Then the mercenary spun around to face them. She had a gun in each hand. She fired, causing the Jedi to retreat.

Under the hood of the mercenary was a Sith named Warguard. But the Jedi didn't know that. The fake mercenary took out the detonator and activated it with lightning speed.

A series of explosions took place along the entire length of the street. Jeannie was buried under pieces of the building. Victorian, despite his wounds, rushed to her aid. He saw the place where his teacher was buried. In two leaps he was at the goal. Closing his eyes, the Padawan summoned the Force. But its power was too great. Instead of trying to raise the wreckage, CryDream smashed them to pieces. His teacher was lying on the ground. She was conscious. Even though she could barely move, she nodded to her Padawan that they needed to catch up with the mercenary, who was heading toward the parking lot.

Warguard was very quick and agile. Her pursuers had no chance of catching up with her.

Just as the Sith was about to board the speeder, her brother, Zarr, appeared in front of her. As he leaped, he landed a powerful kick on his sister's face. Then, as the girl regrouped, Zarr delivered a series of powerful blows to her face and body. Тело Warguard went limp and fell to the ground of the parking lot.

The Sith set their plan in motion.

Jeannie and Victorian ran to the spot where the battle between the two Sith had taken place. Naturally, the Jedi did not know who was in front of them.

Zarr, smiling: «I take it you wanted to have a private conversation with this agile lady?»

Jeannie, surprised: «You are a skilled fighter. I didn't expect any of the locals to be able to stop her. She is a dangerous criminal, and the Coruscant police are looking for her, and as you can see, their search has been fruitless. Where did you learn to fight so well?»

Zarr, still smiling: «I was in the army of the Republic and I had excellent teachers. The Republic produces only the best soldiers.»

Jeannie, smiling: « Yes, I could have guessed for myself. Only in our army can you find such skilled fighters. Thank you for your help. You can come with us. You are entitled to a generous monetary reward for helping the Republic.»

Zarr, bowing: «Thank you, but I'm not interested in the reward. I'm always happy to help the Jedi.»

Victorian raised his eyebrow surprisingly. Zarr noticed his perplexity. Sith pointed to swords hanging from Jedi belts. Jeannie And Victorian's cloaks were torn and burned, leaving their Jedi robes and weapons exposed.

The teacher and padawan bowed to Zarr in gratitude and respect. Then, activating the comlink, they called for a transport that took them and the mercenary to the Jedi Temple.

Part 5

Part 5.

Coruscant. The Jedi Temple.

Jeannie left the Jedi Council chamber. Victorian, in a white and gold uniform, is waiting for the teacher at the door, his hands clasped in front of him. His face is serious.

Jeannie, smiling: « Have you been waiting for me all this time? I told you after we returned to the Temple that you could rest.»

Victorian: «I wonder what the Council decided about the mercenary, if it's not a secret, master.»

Jeannie took the padawan by the arm and led him into a huge hall that had gardens, lakes and benches. Recreation and meditation area for Temple employees.

Everything is illuminated by the sun's rays, which penetrate through the transparent dome. Green vegetation gives the hall a heavenly look.

Jeannie, enjoying the atmosphere: « The Council has taken the mercenary into custody. The Senate will hold a hearing, which will decide where to send the criminal.»

Victorian: «The mercenary was extremely agile and strong. I find this fact strange and... familiar? I also can't understand why such excessive attention to an ordinary mercenary is necessary. I had never heard of her before this mission.»

Jeannie: « To be honest, it was the first time I knew about her too. But, as the Council said, she was seen in Sith clans. Therefore, she may have information that will be useful to the Republic. As for hers power, it is a common occurrence for mercenaries. Many criminals were excellent warriors before they trusted their minds to dark thoughts.»

Jeannie smiled and winked at the padawan: « Go to the far garden. I see another padawan is waiting for you.»

Jeannie turned gracefully and walked toward the group of teachers and younglings.

Part 6

Part 6.

The Jedi Temple.

Victorianus walked over to the spot, which was surrounded by small trees. Here Marie was waiting for him. She smiles and looks at CryDream. She is wearing tight black sweatpants and a thin shirt of the same color. A one-handed lightsaber hangs from her belt.

Marie: « Hi, Vi! How was your mission?»

Victorian started to reply, but the girl interrupted him: « Stop! Not answer. We were allowed to get out of the Temple for a while.»

Marie took his hand and pulled him along: « Let's go! I'll show you a beautiful place. You can tell me everything there.»

As Victorian and Marie started to leave, Jeannie noticed them. She just smiled and waved at them.

Coruscant. Upper level.

A huge aerial platform on which there is an incredible beauty and size of the park with a lot of vegetation and various waterfalls.

Two Padawans were walking down a quiet alley. Victorian finished recounting the mission he had been on with the teacher.

Marie: «I am very glad that everything ended well.»

Marie, pointing at the landscape: « Beautiful, isn't it?»

Victorian just nodded.

Marie: « I love this park. Everything here is real. No artificial plants. Freedom and ease. You know, I'm happy to be a Jedi. But it means that my whole life will be in eternal danger. Sometimes, I want to take a breath, as here, and absorb a sense of freedom and security. Become a real woman. Have your own family. But I'm not complaining. It's just that sometimes I want peace and normality.»

Victorian: « I agree. But sometimes, when you breathe the same air, you can smell blood. This is a sign of imminent death. And it's not the fact that you can prevent it. To understand the signs and to correct them.»

Marie stared at the young man.
