"The one" from alien forest

A little starship flew over alien forest. There were two people on board: experienced pilot Brendon and his new friend young mechanic David. They should take a small unmanned ship. It crashed in the forest a few hours ago.

-Stop shaking the ship, please, – said David from the passenger compartment.

-No, – answered the pilot. – I want to return to Base faster.

-I want to return to Base faster too. So slow down! I don’t want you to break this ship as well as you broken the unmanned ship!

-Are you afraid? – Brendon asked and laughed.

-No!

-Oh, yes! You are afraid like a little girl… – confirmed Brendon.

The pilot made a maneuver and the ship began to shake bigger.

-What are you doing! – shouted David. – Are you crazy?!

-No, my friend. Did you want to learn meet with girls? – said Brendon.

The mechanic tried to pull out the winch but the ship began to lurch and the pilot screamed:

-Ok! Go! I open doors. But be careful. The atmosphere here is not lethal but dangerous. You know what I mean, – warned Brandon.

David went down the rope down to the drone.

David had seen a strange creature with four tentacles. It caught to David's leg and didn’t want to let him.

- No! Some creature grabbed my leg, – answered David.

-Well… It looks like a small octopus. It has four tentacles, four very big blue eyes and shirt curly black hair. And it is small but strong. I can't remove it!

-Oh… – the pilot sighed heavily.

- It's so very nice! I like it!

-Probably it is a feeling of romantic destiny my friend! You are not looking for the perfect girlfriend but you could find really love! You found “the one”. It's okay that it's a beautiful alien octopus. I think it is a good result for you. Now you are not single.

-Stop laughing! – said mechanic. – Help me! I can't remove it. And the winch caught on a root. I can’t pull out the drone alone.

The pilot gave control to an autopilot, had taken the computer and went down to David. But when Brandon jumped off he slipped and fell into bushes. The octopus got scared and hid on a mechanic's back.

-Are you okay? – asked mechanic.

-Yes. But I have teared up his suit. Do not worry. The hole is small here, – Brendon rose and said. – Your octopus is very shy…

The guys had pulled out the drone and when it was necessary to climb the ship, David asked:

Professor Smolensky led the entire mission on the planet. He was a bald and a bit overweight but had beard and a mustache. He met the ship and at once went to Brendon and asked David:

-What happened?

-I… I don’t know professor! – answered the mechanic. – But… He fell into the bushes and has teared up his suit.

-You shouldn’t go out from a ship! I said that a lot of times! You never listen to me! – Smolensky took a tablet and analyzed the pilot's body.

-How can we help him? – asked David.

-The poison of a blue anemone entered in his body. I need a blood of curly octopus. It lives in blue anemones and octopus's blood neutralizes poison. But they very shy and quiet creature. They are very difficult to catch…

David remembered about his new friend. He ran to ship, took the box with octopus and gave it to professor:

-Is it?!

The octopus was very afraid of the professor. But when David calmed it down, professor had taken some blood into a syringe. An hour later pilot Brandon was in the medical compartment. Near to him sat David and his new friend the octopus. The professor said that the octopus could be in a normal atmosphere, so he sat on a mechanic's arm.

-What happened? – asked pilot.

-The poison of a blue anemone entered in your body, – said David. – Blood of my new friend helped you. And you didn't want to take him…

-O my god… Thanks David.

- Things are good. Don’t worry. But now you owe me…

-I will do whatever you say.

-You will teach me how to meet girls, – smiled David.

- No problem, my friend! When we will fly to Juno station I will definitely find “the one” for you. Just take an octopus with yourself because girls like nice animals.
