Video: Sarah in Pescadero talks about the nightmare in which she sees Judgment Day. On August 29, 1997, Skynet will unleash a nuclear holocaust; 3 billion lives will be interrupted in a blink of an eye.

Then Sarah behind the scenes talks about the time when machines were hunting for people.

Los Angeles, 2029. We see the scene of the storming of an important Skynet facility - as at the beginning of «Terminator 2». But now, on behalf of the Resistance sergeant Kyle Reese, whose squad was entrusted with capturing the base of machines, where, according to fragmentary information, Skynet is preparing to activate some kind of «wonder weapon».

Epic battle scene: a fierce battle between human infantry, resistance pick-ups and T-800 endoskeletons, hunter-killers and HK-tanks. At the cost of many lives, people take the entrance to the base, Kyle’s detachment goes to the laboratory at the lower levels. There, Reese sees an active time machine and a T-800 jump in time.

John Connor appears. Knowing what happened (temporal loop), John says that T-800 sent back in time to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor, his mother, and the Resistance should send a defender. Kyle volunteers on this task. We see Reese jump in time to 1984.

Then John discovers a warehouse of inactive T-800s whose appearance is slightly different, finds «Uncle Bob», reprograms and sends him to 1995 with the task of protecting himself from T-1000.

Resistance blows up the time machine and leaves Skynet base through fight.

Resistance saw only the last jump in time to 1984. John knew about the jump to 1995. But before Reese's squad broke into the laboratory, three more unknown terminators were sent to the past: to 1998, 2009 and 2012.

On August 29, 1997, the end of the world did not come. In 1998, T-800 arrives (this is the future «Carl»). He tracks John through school photographs and information about Sarah from Pescadero, and through various databases he finds them in Guatemala. We see the scene from the beginning of «Dark Fate»: T-800 kills John by completing an assignment, receiving a scar from Sarah’s gunshot.

2009, Guatemala. Sarah is a cruel and ruthless leader of partisans in the jungle, only her passion of suicide mission is stronger than her yearning for her son. One day, Sarah receives some coordinates with mark «For John». Sarah with the squad goes to the indicated place and watches with horror the arrival of another T-800. Spilling out all of her rage and pain for the death of his son, Sarah brings an avalanche of fire at the terminator: machine guns, RPGs and Barrett rifles with armor-piercing bullets. The Terminator manages to kill the entire squad of Sarah, but completing the epic picture of the battle is torn to pieces in a trap of anti-tank mines. Sarah takes central processing unit from the skull of T-800 and breaks it with a hammer.

Miraculously surviving Sarah thinks that if another terminator has appeared, and the future is not set, then more terminators may arrive, and Skynet can be created somehow in spite of the explosion of Cyberdyne. Sarah begins to prepare for the arrival of new terminators and in parallel to search for the «growth point» of the new Skynet.

A couple of weeks later, we see Sarah at a school in Los Angeles. She sadly looks at a group of children who ran out of the bus for the first time to go to school. We see a boy who goes to school for the first time. He is thin, he has gray sad eyes. A teacher meets him and asks, «What is your name?» The boy replies, «Kyle».

In the accelerated time-lapse, we are watching an inexorable run of time. Cities are growing, new technologies are emerging, video cameras, satellites, and global tracking systems are multiplying. More and more important systems are connected to the Internet and controlled by computers. We see various events from the life of Reese (school, interest in IT and the events of 1984 and 1995).

Year 2012. We see the scene of the appearance of another terminator at the some factory. It looks like T-1000 without disguise as a person (white faceless liquid metal). He creates edged weapons from mimetic polyalloy. Sarah is already waiting for him, she foresaw the appearance of another liquid terminator and prepared. Sarah throws a «nitrogen grenade», the terminator freezes like in T2, Sarah shoots him with the words «Asta la Vista, motherfucker!» and he shatters to pieces.

And we see that under the liquid part is now the endoskeleton! It is black, smaller than the T-800 endo, fast and deadly.

The endoskeleton rushes at Sarah and injures her, knocking her against the wall. The new terminator is getting ready to finish Connor, but then a minivan bursting into the factory with the inscription «Carl's Draperies». The «aged» T-800 (Carl) comes out of the van and shoots at a black endo from Multishot incendiary rocket launcher M202. Explosions and crashings. The endoskeleton has disappeared, the liquid part has thawed and also flows through pits and crevices.

Carl walks up to Sarah. She was wounded, but recognized him and, exhausted, tries to raise a gun to shoot her son’s killer. Carl says that since John was killed, he self-taught and realized that he had taken from Sarah, realized the value of human life. He says Skynet sent terminators in 1998, 2009 and to actual time. And that he sent the coordinates of the 2009 terminator, registering disturbances in the temporal field. Carl says he has file about the single terminator of the T-900 series.

While Carl is providing first aid, Sarah says: «We will find and kill him. And then I will kill you». Carl says that terminators may have tasks to eliminate other key members of the Resistance, who, as strong-minded people, can fight Skynet.

2022 year. 20-year-old Kyle Reese, a budding IT specialist in cyber warfare, at a military airfield under the guard of PMC soldiers is preparing to board a plane - a huge C-130 transporter. The plane takes off, and T-900 disguised as a PMC soldier attacks Reese.

He is hindered by Sarah and Carl, who entered the flight under the guise of guarded VIPs. Bloody battle on the plane, all casual victims die. Reese sees the terminator, endoskeleton, liquid metal, future technologies. All systems suddenly shut down and the plane begins to fall. Carl shoots from a grenade launcher, tearing a piece of plane covering. They jump with parachutes, and the plane falls and crashes.

After landing Sarah, Carl and Reese hurry to the crash site. But the terminator is not there. Kyle is told about Skynet, Judgment Day, and the war with machines. Kyle, in the face of evidence, believes them. Sarah talks about the role of Kyle in this canceled timeline, but is silent about the fact that he is the father of John Connor. They say they secretly patronized and guarded him, fearing a T-900 attack.

Sarah and Carl attract Kyle for the main mission: the destruction of the Dyson Corporation. This is a company created «on the ruins of Cyberdyne» by Miles' daughter - Blis Dyson.

Sarah shows Kyle a recording of Blis’ speech from the Internet: Dyson is on the verge of a breakthrough in cyber war technology. The newest computer system will allow to perform military operations in the IT field, under the world of global communications, disrupting the transport, energy and life support systems of a potential enemy, because everything is connected to the global network. Blis says the system will not gain control of nuclear weapons. And the system is called «Legion».

Sarah says that the location of the data center, the core of Legion, is secret, they could not find it. Kyle says that he was recruited for a job on a secret IT project and the plane was supposed to fly to the base of this project.

Sarah and Carl understand that this is the core of Legion. But they were late.

The Legion begins Judgment day, turning off all electrical equipment, all mechanisms, all machines, all types of communications, giving rise to total blackout and chaos. Airplanes falls, trains crashes, mass accidents in cities, fires from gas station explosions are falling. Entire regions become radioactive burial sites of exploded nuclear power plants, others are flooded with destroyed hydroelectric power stations. By turning off the temperature, food stocks in storage were destroyed.

Carl, Sarah and Reese in an old single-engine plane, watching from the height of the crumbling world, fly to the center of Legion. In the core, they find and destroy a huge cluster of hundreds of computers, but it does not give anything. The attack of Legion continues. They also see a new time machine, Carl obviously knows what it is.

Suddenly, Blis Dyson appears and tells them that everything is finite and useless to resist human fate - doom yourself to destruction. It becomes clear that Blis is a T-900. It was with his knowledge, that is, all the information from Skynet, and Legion was created on the basis of his processor. Kyle determines that all attacks on human life support systems come from this terminator. The core of the Legion is the T-900 itself.

Further words of the T-900 reveal a more terrible truth: «I could not kill you, Sarah, but now I will correct this mistake».

The T-900 is Skynet in the flesh, a replicated copy of AI that lost to humanity in 2029.

Skynet anticipated the capture of the time machine by the Resistance, the possibility of canceling his creation in the past (the Cyberdyne explosion) and sent the latest terminator with a copy of his consciousness to ensure his second birth. Moreover, the birth in the future, in the era of the inevitable development of technology, to become even more powerful than the version created by Cyberdyne in the 1990s. And this time, do not leave humanity any chance.

10 years - since 2012, Skynet has been creating «Dyson» under various guises and developed Legion. And he searched, but could not find the rebel T-800 Carl and Sarah Connor. And finally he found them, today, by coincidence of the photos registered for the flight to his data center. And on the T-900 flight - Skynet saw Kyle, saw that Sarah and Carl were watching him. He compared the looks of John Connor and Kyle Reese, and realized who was in front of him.

The battle begins. The liquid part attacks Sarah and inflicts a mortal wound on her chest. Carl fights with the endoskeleton, but is not able to penetrate his latest armor, created from heavy-duty alloy. Together, the endo and the liquid almost destroy Carl, who, before turning off the main power, manages to tell Reese to turn on and arrange the overload of the time machine, the EMP burst from which should disconnect T-900.

Kyle starts the time machine, but then T-900 gets to him and prepares to kill him. Sarah yells to Carl that his new mission is almost fails. Carl at the last spark of a backup power source rushes onto T-900 and they fall into a time machine. A chain reaction begins. Sarah bleeds and before dying she says to Kyle: «Live and create your own destiny». The core of Legion explodes, T-900 is destroyed, and the apocalypse is stopped. Skynet is defeated once and for all. Kyle Reese manages to escape.

The near future. Quiet American outback. Kyle Reese is sitting on the lake with his son. In the distance, the ruins of a hydroelectric power station are visible. Kyle tells his son that previously the river level was much lower. It seems life after blackout is bouncing back. The Reese family are farmers; they worked in the field and were very tired. A worker from the field passes by and says to Kyle: «You cannot find serviceable machines, we plow manually, our fate is not easy».

Kyle is silent, and then says to his son:

«Remember, there is no fate.

Our future depends only on ourselves.

Remember that, John».
